Kona vs. FL, 2010
As I'm getting ready to watch the IM World Championship in Kona, I started thinking a lot about that course. The announcer was saying how difficult the course was. Initially, Kona was going to be my A-race. But....I don't feel worthy of Kona yet-and I don't think I'm ready for a HIM on a tough course.
Then I saw a HIM in FL, May 16 (the day after my b-day!) that is really flat and goes around Disney....I'm thinking of changing my A-race to this one. It's only my first season and if I do Kona now, what's better than that? I think I may need to save that one until I get a few seasons under my belt.... realistically, I think that's the best idea. And what a cool birthday!
